Objective: Create physical digital centers ("FarmHubs") for farmers to access connectivity, market data, and extension services.
Impact: These hubs are the operational base for ShambaAssistant, enabling youth to offer paid soil testing services.

We anchored the strategic focus of the academy by structuring engagements for their technical and operational teams.
Outcome: Demonstrated how schools can double as community capacity-building centers for local SMEs.
Context: COVID-19 Pandemic (2020)
Supported youth innovators addressing health and economic resilience. Specifically, we backed Jon Muruka (Founder, Ntaka Waste Management), who won 3rd place nationally.
Innovation: Turning household waste into fuel briquettes, reducing charcoal use and cleaning the environment.
Period: 2020-2021
Teams worked on challenges related to desert locust tracking, weather data modelling, and soil mapping. P4CDA mentored Kenyan youth in these global events.
Role: Mentorship and facilitation of youth participation in global agricultural data challenges.
Scope: East & Southern Africa
Conducted a comprehensive mapping of AgTech initiatives in partnership with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
Goal: Identify fragmented solutions and create a unified database of technologies for smallholder farmers.
An initiative bringing together business leaders across the continent to network and explore diverse investment opportunities in African agriculture value chains.
